Maharashtra Nature Park
A remarkable 37-acre urban forest located near Dharavi on the Bandra-Sion Link Road, just a short distance from Kurla West, Maharashtra Nature Park was transformed from a former garbage dump into a thriving mini-forest by WWF-India and MMRDA. It is home to over 80 species of birds, 200 tree species, and a rich variety of butterflies — making it a wonderful escape into nature for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts right in the heart of Mumbai.
